An Awesome Good friday!

Today is Good Friday-Thank you Jesus for dying to save me and everyone in the world. And coming back to life three days later to go back to Heaven....I cannot wait to meet you there. I love you!

& Happy Earth Day....I celebrated by shopping at many many stores using only one cotton Target bag I bought a while ago.

WOW! Today was awesome! It was one of those rare days when I wake up in an awesome mood-@ 10:30am, might I add- with my beautiful baby boy rubbing my cheek with his hands ever so sweetly....as if to say "mommy, please wake up so we can play." It is a beautiful thing when Owen lets me sleep in because his nights & my nights too, are ridiculous. He's an awesome sleeper from bedtime till about 4am. The next 3 hours are a lot of sshhhhhhing, bouncing, "Owen I love you but please go back to sleep", a bottle, a diaper change, & sometimes frustration from me because I'm super over him not sleeping through the night. But then 7am comes and he's ready to sleep again straight till 9:30 or 10:30 usually. I'm not sure why he has this crazy schedule but I can tell you I'm over it. I would happily get up at 7 just to sleep straight till then.

So it is time for Owen to have his own room & for us to work out these sleep issues. So this weekend we are going to relocate Spencer's office and replace it with a crib, diapers, clothes, and the millions of other things that have come into our home for our little guy.

I am very excited but nervous for next week...we will begin sleep training for the like 4th time or something. We've tried a few times but we don't have the stomachs to let him cry it out-but there is only so much sleep deprivation a momma can take...9 months of yucky pregnancy nights of sleep + 8 months of baby up at night = a sleepy momma & daddy. And if he ever wants a brother or a sister I need my sleep.

And now we are have an extremely rare night when Owen fell asleep @ 6:30 & no one is here but Spencer & I......THIS NEVER HAPPENS!! I honestly can't remember the last time this happened. Now time to finish making dinner...lemon pepper chicken w/ Pasta & baked cherry tomatoes. YUM! & we are renting Tangled. CUTE!
