Wreath
This was very easy to make. I started with a foam mold, wrapped the white yarn very closely around the mold(which was green). Then added the grey yarn. Then I crocheted the grey, yellow, & purple flowers with the pattern below. The grey flower was made with a size N crochet hook. The yellow & purple flowers were made with a size J crochet hook. Finally I sewed the buttons on with white thread. I love how it turned out & now I need to find it a place in our home. I might find some lace & ribbon rosettes to add to & if so will update the photos.
Pattern for the flowers:
Step 1: Make a slip knot, leaving a 5 inch tail on crochet hook.
Step 2: Ch 4. Join ch with a sl st forming a ring.
Step 3: Round one-Ch 4, sl st into ring; repeat 4 more times(you should end up with 5 small petals) by working over tail. Pull tail to close center of flower. Weave tail into back side of flower with a tapestry needle.
Step 4: Round four-in next Ch 4 loop, work(sl st, ch 2, 3 tr, ch 2, sl st) repeat in remaining 4 petals. Weave tail in back side of flower with tapestry needle.
