1st Family Pumpkin Carving

 Sunday started off rocky with too many plans & not enough $ to pull them all off so after much debate we decided to stay in as a family which ended up being a really fun day, praise the Lord for that.

We carved pumpkins in the morning, which seriously I thought Owen would be all over that, the gooey mess....but he pretty much wanted nothing to do with it. What a goofy boy. But Spence had him trace on his pumpkin with a pen and then he carved it out for him. So cute. While on the other side of the table I carved a christmas tree into my pumpkin :) yup, it's true.....my own personal rebelion against halloween for christmas, really it's just my impatience squirming it's way out of yet another area of my life. But truly I am SO SO SOOOOO excited for Chrismas!!! 54 days left.

Then it was nap time for our little bug. Husband & I played Sequence, did laundry, and just enjoyed some quite cuddle time. It was a lovely day!

An Evening @ the Fountain.

Last night I had the pleasure of spending the evening with my hubby & my baby Owen. We went & got dinner at our favorite place, Rice Time, in Wilsonville.

Then we headed over to the water fountains to splash around with Owen. He completely loved it....

We then headed over to Peachy Berry for dessert & the little bug feel asleep so peacefully on the drive home.

Happy 1st Birthday Party Owen!

It was such a beautiful day @ WoodHaven Park in Sherwood

The day was so peaceful & smooth. Owen & I woke up and enjoyed breakfast and playing outside for a bit. followed by a few hours of playing in the kitchen on the floor by me while I cooked & put together all the yummy food for the party. We ate lunch & then Owen went right to sleep for his two hour nap{Beautiful thing}. I then finished all the last minute things for the party. We then headed over to the park, set-up, & enjoyed family and friends.

HE WALKS!!!!

My spunky little boy now walks everywhere. On saturday we moved and I guess when our apartment was empty and there was no furniture to grab onto so he decided to take off! It was crazy awesome.

1st Birthday Party Invitations.

I was so excited to have Owen's 1st birthday invites be homemade. It was such a fun project and a great first step and becoming a little creative.

So this was my first big DIY project & I was so happy with how they turned out.

Here's what I did...

Here are most of the supplies. I also used 2 paper bags, 

wallet size photos I had printed from the store, white brads,

twine, & adhesive stickers.

 

And that's all. Not too hard. But very proud of myself for making 56 of them. BAM :)

He's such a little man now. These are just after his 

new haircut. I miss his curls :( But luckily he is so crazy 

cute that he is just as cute now just in a big kid way :)
